SUMAC – Pacific Northwest Tour Dates

SUMAC are gearing up for their first tour run which will be a little Pacific Northwest jaunt that will undoubtedly crush.  Their debut album “The Deal” is set for a Feb 17th official release date but will be available directly from our website much before then.  Here are the tour dates.  Aaron Turner designs the coolest tour admats too.


PYRAMIDS – Complete Work On New Album, New Track Available

Texas-based experimental wall-of-sound ambient metal contingent PYRAMIDS have completed work on their new album “A Northern Meadow”.

The follow-up (as PYRAMIDS on their own, not including their previous collaboration LP’s with artists such as Horseback, Mamiffer, and Nadja) to the 2008 self-titled debut (Hydra Head Records), “A Northern Meadow” sees PYRAMIDS deliver their most stunning and crafted work yet. By taking reference points from genres such as ambient and experimental music, shoegaze (the band once collaborated with Cocteau Twins bass player Simon Raymonde at one point), black metal, and industrial music, “A Northen Meadow” results in being an encompassing album…

A.M.S.G. – Announce “The Forbidden Transformation” EP

Polarizing black metal entity A.M.S.G. have announced the mid-late Feb release of “The Forbidden Transformation” EP. To be released as a 12” vinyl + CD package combo and to be a strictly limited pressing, “The Forbidden Transformation”, as expected, presents some of the most unorthodox, unconventional, alien, and bizarre outer-sound death worship black metal coming out today.


Comprised of three songs clocking in at the 30+ minute mark, “The Forbidden Transformation” presents material unearthed during the “Anti-Cosmic Tyranny” recording sessions and features the final appearance of drummer Kaos Abhorrer who died by his own hand last year, transcending the mortal…
