We are proud to announce that one of the best heavy metal bands ever, namely the cult known as SLOUGH FEG, will be releasing their next full-length album through Profound Lore Records. Mastermind Mike Scalzi has been pounding away in the studio over the last while crafting what we could only imagine to be one of the best heavy metal releases you’ll hear this year. SLOUGH FEG’s next full-length album should be released early fall. Expect more album updates to surface sometime soon.
In the meantime, Scalzi and co. are gearing up for another tour, this time a West Coast run alongside none other than the mighty GATES OF SLUMBER. Tour dates are as follows:

Ireland's ALTAR OF PLAGUES will be teaming up with dark metal band Velnias this summer to embark on an ambitious North American tour beginning in July and heading into August. During the course of the tour, on select dates, the band will be joined by such acts as Thou, Fell Voices, and Profound Lore acts CASTEVET, KRALLICE, WORM OUROBOROS, COFFINWORM, and MAN'S GIN (!!!). Canadian progressive hardcore trio KEN MODE are gearing up to go on an extensive North American tour and will mark their first time touring the States in six years. The band plan to do extensive touring throughout the summer months which will ultimately lead them to enter CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou’s Godcity Studios this August to record their upcoming full-length album which will be released by Profound Lore in Spring 2011. |

Figure with word going around on the status and fate of LUDICRA’s “De-Cancellation” tour, it’s time we gave an official update on the situation. The plan is for LUDICRA to soldier on their tour in St. Paul, MN (on April 08) as a four piece until John Cobbett fully recovers and can re-join the band for the rest of the tour.
