VASAELETH - Complete Work On Debut Album, MP3 Available |
|
Texas/Georgia death metal outfit VASAELETH have completed work on their debut album, “Crypt Born And Tethered To Ruin”.

Following their highly acclaimed limited demo that circulated within underground death metal circles (which was one of the most highly praised demos within death metal this year), Vasaeleth (which features members from two of the most promising U.S. black metal hordes, namely LEGIONS OF ASTAROTH and DAGON) are set to unleash a debut album which will undoubtedly be seen as a monument within U.S. death metal and put them within the elite of the U.S. death metal underground, adjoining alongside several other acts which also have recently surfaced that will portray a true vision of where the underground death metal movement in the U.S. should be headed towards during these apocalyptic dark times of need and desperation.
Nonetheless, “Crypt Born And Tethered To Ruin” is the audial essence of pure death manifestation. Raw, evil, guttural, ugly brutal atmospherically powerful death metal (the way it should be) that mirrors the early glory days of such acts as Incantation and Autopsy and which severs as the complete antithesis of some of this other so-called polished, clean and technically precise and triggered athletic gear/rap influenced pseudo “death metal” coming out today that should do us all a favour and throw itself off a cliff.
In what will be our first release of 2010, “Crypt Born And Tethered To Ruin” is a murky and brutally dark pillage into raw diabolical atmospheric death metal terror. The album was mastered by Colin Marston (Krallice, Dysrhythmia, Gorguts, etc.) and the cover art was conjured by Antichrist Kramer, most likely in a possessed state.
To be released mid-Feb, tracklisting for “Crypt Born And Tethered To Ruin” goes as follows:
1. Wrathful Deities 2. Figures Of Chained Spirits 3. Curse Seeping Through Flesh 4. Gateways To The Cemetery Of Being 5. Poisoned Tongue 6. Spirit Of Noxious Miasmas 7. Adorned Ad Iridescent 8. Crypt Born And Tethered To Ruin
An MP3 of the opening track ‘Wrathful Deities’ can be heard via our MP3 section and the Vasaeleth myspace page here: www.myspace.com/vasaeleth
